eJono.fi
Privacy and data handling
eJono.fi is a lightweight mobile queue that works without user accounts or visitor contact details.
- No names or contact details
- No advertising tracking
- Deletion after 30 days without queue activity
What is stored?
The service stores the queue name, optional description, operating mode, queue numbers, and technical queue identifiers. Visitors are not asked for a name, phone number, or email address.
How long is data retained?
The queue and all associated queue numbers, management-operation history, and notification subscriptions are automatically deleted from the live database after 30 days without queue activity. Each successful join, staff queue action, or visitor cancellation starts a new 30-day period. Simply viewing a queue, its management page, or its display does not extend this period. Deletion runs on a schedule, normally within an hour after the deadline. While the queue remains active, its associated records, including older queue numbers, can be retained for longer than 30 days. Queues already present when this rule is introduced receive a one-time transition period of at least 30 days from the update. The update itself does not count as queue activity.
Tracking
Essential cookies and browser storage preserve access to your queue number and saved management links. The service does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
Do not enter personal information
Do not include customer or employee personal information in a queue name or description. Treat the private management link like a password.
Use of the service and liability
The service is provided as is without guarantees of availability, functionality, or service level. You use it at your own risk. Do not use eJono.fi where a delay or outage could endanger safety, health, or another critical operation.
Frequently asked questions
Can I keep using the same QR code?
Yes. The same queue and QR code keep working when successful queue actions occur less than 30 days apart. Joining, calling, completing service, cancelling, and closing or reopening start a new period. Viewing a page does not extend it. Links stop working once the queue is deleted.
